In Japan, a Daruma doll (達磨)is a hollow, round, traditional doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of the Zen tradition of Buddhism. The Daruma has a design that is rich in symbolism and is regarded more as a talisman of good luck to the Japanese. They are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck.

The eyes of Daruma are blank when sold and used as a means to keep track of goals or big tasks and motivate us to reach our goals. One eye is filled upon setting the goal, then the other upon fulfilling it. In this way, every time they see the one-eyed Daruma, they recall the goal.

This metallic tea caddy resembles a Daruma doll and does not have any eyes painted. Includes a pair of stickers to give the Daruma the eyes upon reaching our goals. It serves two purposes, is a cute way to preserve our tea leaves and can also be used to motivate us to reach our goals.

Available in two colours, white and red.
